The song I chose to inspire this was Forget About the Boy written by Dick Scanlan and Jeanine Tesori. The song is from Thoroughly Modern Millie. My favorite version of this song is the Broadway Backwards rendition with Tony Yazbeck (www.youtube.com/watch?… ).

I was trying out some different techniques with this, and I am pretty happy with the turnout! It isn't quite as bland as my typical, flat digital coloring. I used Krita, experimented with a few brushes, and overlayed my original (traditional) pencil sketch over the image and under- like a sandwich.
